Tutorial- Lighting

As i have never held a photoshoot before i am going to look at the tutorials on how to light images. Where to put the lighting and how far away from the person or object, and these are my finds after about half an hour of searching on google.

Double Page Spread- Shooting In Black And White on DSLR

Instead of editing the photo on photoshop for my double spread picture in black and white i then decided to research into how to do it on a dslr similar to the one i will be using for the actual photo shoots, this will hopefully then give a better black and white effect rather than adding the effect on after and it possibly not being as good of a shot than setting it on a dslr, a link to a tururial is shown below:
